How Oxygen Pools Works

Oxygen Pools is a three-step program that consists of ozone, a peroxide residual, and shock treatment. This chlorine-free alternative is easy to use and doesn’t require a conversion process before you make the change from chlorine to Oxygen Pools. It’s simple to use, allowing you to be swimming in your pool while reaping the benefits in no time. So how does it work? 

Step 1: Ozone. The Dynamic Oxygen Generator automatically oxidizes contaminants in the water stream and creates dissolved oxygen in the water.

Step 2: Peroxide Residual. The Pure Purox provides a safe level of hydrogen peroxide to your pool water. Since hydrogen peroxide is produced by the human body as the first line of defense against pathogens, it’s not a foreign substance to your body, unlike chlorine. 

Step 3: Blended Shock Treatment. Finally, the EPA registered Formula “O” is added to simplify your water treatment plan and avoid the use of multiple different chemicals. Formula “O” contains four different additives, including an activated oxygen power, a natural algaecide and a food-grade clarifier.
