Pettis Pools is proud to announce the arrival of the Maax Collection 581, the first spa in the Urban Series.  Maax Spa has set out to develop a new look in spa design combining all of the hydrotherapy features of the Maax Collection in a spa that matches the design esthetic of a modern backyard.
 
“Urban backyard design has really evolved over the last decade. And a standard hot tub dropped into these manicured spaces can be really out of place,” says Emil Nygard, VP of Sales and Marketing at MAAX Spas. “We started the development of the Urban Series with the question: What would a spa that matches the most modern urban backyards look like? It calls for straight, clean lines, minimalistic design and the flexibility for homeowners to integrate the spa with his or her modern space.
 
The 581 Spa by MAAX Spas provides a therapeutic hydrotherapy massage and offers all the benefits of today’s portable hot tubs. Its physician-designed Zone Therapy™ utilizes 51 strategically positioned hydrotherapy jets to target specific pain-trigger points in the neck, back and thighs.
 
The interior of the Urban Series offers seating for five and includes a zero gravity lounge with a Foot Relief Zone®.  It features two deep bucket seats connected by a raised conversation area. In addition, automatic cleaning and sanitizing systems make cleaning and maintaining your spa a simple task.
 
The exterior showcases the most striking feature, an illuminated  “exhibition edge” with 4 corner fountains. The exhibition edge can be customized with design elements like polished rocks, sea glass or artificial greenery to match the design themes of the backyard. The Urban Series Spa easily becomes a focal point when the illuminated fountains are on—day or night.

The Urban Series is the first to use Bluetooth technology for the stereo system. All of your music can play wirelessly from your MP3 or smartphone. They easily communicate with the spa’s on-board waterproof stereo speakers, including a subwoofer under the shell so you can feel the music.
