At Pettis Pools & Patio we proudly feature the complete line up of MAAX Spas. We have sold hundreds of them throughout the Greater Rochester and Syracuse, NY areas and our customers love the spa experience it provides. MAAX Spas is a part of Brookfield, which is now the largest company involved in the manufacturing of spas.  MAAX entered the spa business in 1969 and grew into a leading manufacturer of modern whirlpool systems for the bathtub industry.  They became synonymous for long-lasting quality and innovation and expanded into the spa sector by acquiring companies such as: Coleman Spas, Savannah, and Manhattan.

MAAX Spas relies on both medical and engineering professionals to help create and design each of their products. In fact, one of their most popular innovations is the physician-designed Zone Therapy™ that utilizes strategically positioned jets that target specific pain zones.

Other areas of the MAAX spa design that reflect their top engineering staff includes extra space in the footwell area while lowering the overall height of the spa. This allows for more room inside the tub, while providing an eye-pleasing design that works well with any backyard design. The modern, low-slung profile and “lounger” seating profile are customer favorites.

Additionally, there are over 300 quality control checkpoints that are personally inspected by in-house engineers. This ensures every step of the manufacturing process is up to our exacting standards.

State-of-the-Art Spa Control

This is an advanced, state of the art spa controller that provides ease-of-use, safety and reliability all in one package. MAAX Spa’s Powerworks™ with M7 technology is a hardware/software platform that eliminates mechanical sensor switches and remote through-wall temperature sensors. The M7 platform features two identical solid-state sensors that mount inside the heater manifold. These “Smart Sensors” accurately and reliably measure water temperature while monitoring critical water conditions without the possibility of failure due to mechanical switch malfunction.
