The best books to read pool side this summer

Relaxation. During the summer, that’s the name of the game, right? There’s just something about this season where time seems to slow down, and we spend more of it doing the things we love.
One of our summertime favorites is settling in poolside with a great read. A cool drink, a comfy chair, and a wonderful book are a great way to while away the hours. If that sounds good to you, too – we have some great reading suggestions for you!

Do you like thrillers?

The Woman in the Window is a spellbinding Hitchcock-esque story about a child psychologist grappling with alcoholism, prescription drug abuse and agoraphobia who witnesses a brutal crime while spying on her neighbors.
The Perfect Neighbors – Sometimes, no matter how excited you are about a fresh start, things just don’t work out as planned.

How about cozy mysteries?

In Strawberries & Creme Murder, bakery owner Heather fires her thieving employee – who then turns up murdered. Will the handsome detective name Heather a suspect?

Reading to the kids poolside can be fun, too.

Catching fireflies is a right of passage for many kids in the summertime. Fireflies is a sweet story that’s fun to read aloud with your children or grandchildren about the tradition – and about letting go.
