LOOP-LOC supports the weight of an elephant

You might know LOOP-LOC from their commercials where an African elephant walks across one of their covers over a pool; but in case you aren’t familiar—they are the company that pioneered the idea of a swimming pool cover being used for safety (not just to keep things out of the pool).

LOOP-LOC pool covers are constructed of a super dense mesh that allows rain and melting snow to easily drain through. Its weave is so tight that it keeps most sunlight and debris out. LOOP-LOC also uses Computer-Aided Design to ensure a perfect, custom fit for any shape or size pool.

A LOOP-LOC cover is what is known as a safety cover. Unlike a vinyl cover that is more of a tarp put over your pool, all safety covers must conform to the Standard Performance Specification set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). According to the ASTM, a safety cover must be able to support a certain amount of weight, not permit gaps that a child or pet could squeeze through, and remove standing water. LOOP-LOC safety covers far exceed minimum ASTM standards. They are also approved by Underwriters Laboratories.

They are constructed of double perimeter webbing and double-thick straps, extremely high-strength 302 grade stainless steel springs, and polyester-bonded thread. Each cover is hand-inspected, right down to every stitch!
